Having regard to Government and Health advice about the Coronavirus situation Portsmouth Table Tennis Club has curtailed its activities with effect from Monday 16th March 2020. Updates on the situation will be posted to this web site in due course.
Welcome to Portsmouth Table Tennis Club's website.
While the Clubs origins can be traced back to 1946 it was re-established in 1999 and formally opened by the Minister for Sport Kate Hoey MP. The Club soon gained ETTA Premier Club Advanced status, and thereafter Club Mark accreditation. It won the ETTA's Premier "Club of the Year" Award in 2003/4.
The Club welcomes players of all abilities. Coaches are on hand to give advice. The Club uses the services of professional coach Adam Proszko (picture below), a former Polish International and Olympic player.
The Club uses two premises based in Portsmouth Schools with 20 tables overall. It has 8 teams playing in the Portsmouth League spread from Division 1 to Division 4. In 2018/19 PTTC "Purple" retained its title as Division 1 Champions.

In the Senior British League the Portsmouth team retained its status in the Championship Division.
Club Chairman Brian Hall expressed satisfaction at the Club's progress in 2018/19 and its emphasis on junior player development.
